Do I need any experience?
Not at all. Our workshops are designed for complete beginners as well as those who simply enjoy creating. We’ll guide you through each step, so all you need to bring is your curiosity.
Will I take my creation home?
Yes, unless otherwise stated. Most workshops allow you to take your handmade piece home on the day. If a workshop requires drying, firing or finishing time, we’ll let you know when and how it can be collected.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive around 10-15 minutes before your workshop begins so you have time to settle in and meet your fellow guests.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely! Many of our guests attend on their own. Our workshops are warm, welcoming spaces where it’s easy to relax, meet new people, or simply enjoy some quiet creative time.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes. Vaya Studio gift vouchers make a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves creativity, mindfulness, or trying something new.
Is there parking available?
Parking information varies by venue and will be included in your workshop confirmation email.
I have accessibility requirements. Can I attend?
We want our workshops to be welcoming and inclusive. Please let us know about any accessibility requirements when booking, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Do you travel to other locations?
Yes – we’re based in Toowoomba and offer pop-up workshops across South East Queensland and beyond. If you’d like us to bring a creative experience to your workplace, home town, venue, or event – we’d love to hear from you!
What's included?
Everything you need is provided, including all materials, tools, and expert guidance. Most workshops also include light refreshments. Any inclusions specific to your workshop will be listed in the booking details.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing suitable for a creative workshop. While we take care to minimise mess, some materials may mark clothing, so avoid wearing anything precious.
Are refreshments provided?
Some of our workshops do include refreshments. Any inclusions will be listed in the booking details. If you have dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Can I book for a group?
Yes. We welcome birthdays, bridal showers, corporate groups, community groups, and private celebrations. Connect with us to discuss your ideas.
What if I need to cancel?
Life happens. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for our cancellation and transfer policy. Where possible, we’ll always do our best to help.
Are your workshops suitable for children?
Some workshops are designed specifically for children or families, while others are intended for adults. Please refer to the individual workshop description for age recommendations.
Can I book a private workshop?
Yes. We offer private workshops for birthdays, hens’ celebrations, corporate wellbeing events, team building, schools, community groups, and other special occasions. We’d love to create a memorable experience for your group. Connect with us to discuss your ideas.
What if I don't think I'm creative?
